Here’s a particularly well thought out list of spring cleaning ideas for the particularly thorough and energetic. It includes such tasks as resealing grout in the bathroom, washing window screens, and shampooing rugs. Here’s an odd thought. Even if you don’t have time or inclination to get into the weeds of a spring cleaning to that extent I think there’s a virtue in taking in at a glance the parts of your physical home that could get a yearly makeover. It helps in seeing your house or apartment as itself a part of nature, with its own cycles of needed replenishing. If you’ll forgive me a poetic moment, even in our places of refuge, the larger cycles of life continue.
