Move Out/Move In Cleaning List

Here is a list of typical cleaning tasks that you might find useful if you are getting your house or apartment ready for the next occupant, or to do the job that the last occupant didn’t if you are just moving in:
 
Kitchen:
Regular tasks: dusting; fronts and tops of counters, fronts of cabinets, stove, fridge, microwave, sink, floor
Plus:
Inside stove and fridge, inside cabinets, top of cabinets
 
Bathrooms:
Regular tasks: dusting, tub, shower stall, toilet, sink, mirror, floor
Plus:
Inside medicine cabinet
 
Other rooms:
Regular tasks: dusting, glass, floors (vacuum)
Plus:
Wipe down inside all buffets drawers and closets
Wipe down floor boards
Mop all wood floors
Clean up finger marks on door jambs
Optional:
Wipe out surface between windows and screens
Wash inside surface of windows
